PVP Live Developer Q&A +Details of Arena World Championships Revealed
After an hour long Q&A with lead PvP Designer Brian Holinka on the 9th, CM Lore (Josh Allen) and WoW esports team manager Jeramy McIntyre shared full details of the WoW Arena World Championship for 2017.
The number of eligible spots for participating teams has significantly increased: this official Blizzard post breaks down exactly how qualification will pan out between now and the finals of the championships, which (presumably) will take place at Blizzcon in November.
Update to 7.2 PTR Notes
There has been an update to the PTR notes, which reflects recent changes to the drop rate of Nethershards (the new currency for the patch) plus other developments. The full patch notes can be read here.
Changes to Legendary items and Broken Isles Pathfinder in 7.2
On top of the update to patch notes, there’s also been significant changes to the power and on use effects of Legendary items, plus clarification of what exactly players will need to complete to access flying in 7.2 and beyond. Account Bans for Violations made Public
Blizzard confirmed on the 8th that a selection of players had been banned for ‘actively participating in and/or advertising the sale of in-game raid or dungeon clears in exchange for real-world currency’ which is in clear violation of the game’s advertised Terms of Service.

Un’Goro Madness runs 17th-19th March
